Makes 2 smoothie bowls:

The Goods:

  • 1/2 small cantaloupe, skin & seeds removed

  • 1 (5oz) Forager Project organic vanilla bean cashew/coconut yogurt

  • 1 large orange, skin removed

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

  • 1 frozen banana, peeled

  • 2 cups frozen mango

  • 1 heaping tablespoon blue matcha powder (or regular green matcha)

  • 2 cups ice cubes

For the garnish:

  • diced mango and strawberries

  • coconut flakes

  • date syrup drizzle (optional)

The Method:

  1. Simply, add all the ingredients into a large high powered blender except the ice cubes. Blend on high for 60 seconds until you have a smooth consistency.

  2. Now toss in the ice cubes and blend again for 30-45 seconds until you have a thick smoothie consistency. You most likely will need an accelerator stick to help get things moving inside of the blender. If it’s still not thick enough, just add another cup of ice and blend again.

  3. Quickly scoop out the smoothie into your two serving bowls. Flatten out the top of the smoothie bowl with a spoon, and then garnish with a generous amount of diced mango/strawberries, a sprinkle of coconut flakes, and a light drizzle of date syrup.

  4. Enjoy immediately while the smoothie bowl is super cold and thick before it melts away into a smoothie. Perfect way to start your morning this summer!
