All hail the green smoothie!! I am obsessed with green smoothies, so much so, that once upon a time I even wrote an entire ebook about them. They’re the most perfect way to start the day, and to be honest, breakfast doesn’t get much easier than this!

All the ingredients are easily accessible, in season for springtime and super inexpensive!

The Goods:
2 stalks celery
2 kiwis
1 handful parsley
1 inch whole ginger
1 apple, sliced
1/2 cucumber
4 kale leaves, stemmed
4-6 romaine leaves
1 handful spinach
1 lemon, juiced
1 scoop hemp protein powder
12 oz chilled filtered water or coconut water
The Method:
Simply, add all the ingredients to a blender and blend on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth. (Optional to add ice cubes at the end for colder smoothies, and blend for a few seconds.)
