Midnight Dream Smoothie Bowl
Usually I like to have cold pressed juices every day, but Sundays lately have been my days for smoothie bowls. I love them super thick, packed full of nutrients and so deliciously sweet and bright! This smoothie bowl is so fun with the activated charcoal as a little addition to make it black. I love adding different ingredients to play with the colors of the smoothie bowls!
I use fresh oat milk in this recipe but if you don’t have time to make your own, go ahead and use any plant milk that you have on hand!

Makes 2 smoothie bowls:
The Goods:
2 handfuls spinach
1/2 cucumber, sliced
1/2 zucchini, sliced
1 orange, peeled
1/2 - 1 cup oat milk
1 scoop vegan vanilla protein powder
2 cups frozen mango
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 frozen banana
1/2 tsp activated charcoal (or spirulina if you cant find it)
almond butter (for drizzling)
berries, cacao nibs, amaranth and/ or coconut shreds for the top
The Method:
Add spinach, cucumber, zucchini, peeled orange, oat milk and vegan protein powder to a blender and blend until smooth.
Add in frozen fruit and charcoal (or spirulina) and blend with accelerator (stick to help push it down), until super thick and smooth. If you don’t have a Vitamix, you made need to add a bit more oat milk since you won’t have an accelerator and that’s ok!
Pour into bowls and top with almond butter, berries and other desired toppings!
