The Guava Quench Mocktail

Welcome to another addition of my series of large batch mocktail recipes called “Magic Mocktails!”. This series is focused on meal prepping mocktail concentrates to keep in the fridge for a quick refreshment that is always on hand. Originally I was inspired to create this series for those moments when it’s summer time and it’s hot out, but even now in the middle of winter I wanted to have pre-made prepared mocktail concentrates in the fridge for any occasion. You know, something delicious with simple ingredients, able to whip up in a jiffy, and tastes so darn good.

Maybe I’m biased, but this guava quench pitcher is my favorite mocktail of this series so far. You get so much flavor plus all of the B vitamins, the antioxidants and the natural electrolytes so you’ll feel hydrated and hyped all year long.

This pitcher is:

  • packed with natural electrolytes

  • simple and fast

  • perfect for meal prep for the week

  • a concentrate for cocktails

  • hydrating and healthy

Save this recipe and don’t forget to tag me @chef_bai over on instagram when you make this amazing mocktail all year long.

Makes one 64oz Pitcher:

The Goods:

  • 1 (320z) coconut water

  • 1 (32 oz) guava juice

  • 4-5 blood oranges, juiced

  • 1 lemon, juiced

For the garnish:

  • salted rim

  • blood orange slices

  • orange Olipop soda or plain soda water

The Method:

  1. Simply, grab a large pitcher, and add the coconut water, guava juice, blood orange juice, lemon juice, and stir with a large spoon until fully mixed.

  2. To serve, grab two tall collins glasses and wet the rim with the left over oranges or lemon, flip the glasses upside down and salt the rim with a plate sprinkled with salt. When you have a slated rim, fill them full with ice cubes.

  3. Fill each glass about 3/4 of the way full with your guava quench mocktail, and then pour the orange soda water over the top as a floater to fill in the last 1/4 amount.

  4. Garnish with a blood orange slice. Enjoy immediately!

  5. Keep a cap on the pitcher and store in the fridge for 4-6 days. Pour yourself a cooling refreshment for any occasion!
